Senior Party Information for Parents

Each year Eden Prairie High School parents host a Senior Party after graduation. We have more than 700 students graduating on June 9, 2017 and this all-night, safe and alcohol and drug free party is one they will never forget!

Throughout the evening they enjoy food from local restaurants, activities, games, contests, performances and participate in a service project for PROP. Hundreds of parents volunteer each year to make this night a success!

Important Party Details

Senior Party buses begin departing from Mariucci Arena 20 minutes after the end of the graduation ceremony. Students must ride the buses and enter EPHS at the party entrance.

If desired, students should make a plan to change clothes at Mariucci Arena and send cap, gown and any other belongings home with their family after the graduation ceremony.

Students don’t need to bring anything! No money is needed at the party – the registration fee covers all food and activities. The only items allowed at the party are cell phones, cameras and car keys.

Students are not permitted to leave before 5:00 am without prior notification by parents. Students are not permitted to go to their cars for any reason during the party.

Please remind your student that only cell phones, cameras and car keys are allowed. Absolutely no backpacks, bags, purses, food or beverages are allowed into the event.

How You Can Help and Participate

Volunteer Opportunities

Parents, we need you! We need hundreds of volunteers to make this event a success. Parent volunteers are needed for set-up, during the event and clean-up on Thursday, June 8, Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. All volunteer opportunities will be posted via SignUp Genius. The link goes live on March 15!

Donations

The Senior Party committee needs your support! This event is funded entirely through registration fees, donations and fundraising events. You can include a donation with your registration, or see the Donations page for more information.

Senior Standouts or Posters!

Most Seniors create a life-sized Senior Standout that is used to decorate the gym and hallways during the Senior Party. The seniors love to find themselves and their friends lining the walls at the party.

Parent Checklist

• Registration begins March 1 – please register your senior by May 1for the reduced rate. Price will increase on May 2.
• Registration closes June 1st.
• Join the EPHS Parents of 2017 Facebook group for senior news, party information, fundraising events and more!
• Participate in and help spread the word about the Senior Party Fundraisers.
• Make a Donation.
• Sign up to Volunteer – SignUpGenius links will be available March 15.
• Read the EPHS Senior Party Information for Parents above.
• Order your child’s Senior Standout before Mid-May.
• Drop off your Senior Standout/Poster at the EPHS Activities Entrance on Thursday, June 8 between 12-7pm or Friday, June 9 from
  8-10am. Please write student’s name, phone number and Senior Party wristband number on the back of the standout or poster.
