Senior Standouts

Most Seniors create a life-sized Senior Standout that is used to decorate the gym and hallways during the Senior Party. The seniors love to find themselves and their friends lining the walls at the party.

Vendor Options and Pricing
  • Walgreens – Wagner Way (corner of Hwy 5 & Eden Prairie Road)

Mounted and cut on cardboard:
*One 6’x2′ pose = $60 (single sheet cut-out)
*Two-sheet pose = $70 (used to accommodate taller or wider poses)

Printing only — customers obtain their own cardboard elsewhere and cut it out themselves:
*One 6’x2′ pose = $30 (single sheet cut-out)
*Two-sheet pose = $40 (used to accommodate taller or wider poses)

This is not an official Walgreens photo product, so coupons are not permitted. However, customers with Walgreens Balance Reward points can spend them.

Helpful information from Walgreens:

1. All photos taken by a photographer need written permission for a photo lab to reproduce; it is often referred to as a copyright release. This is in compliance with federal copyright laws, since Walgreens’ photo labs are a third-party business.

2. Walgreens recommends a 16MP (or higher) resolution camera for taking the picture.

3. It doesn’t need to be any specific picture format (.jpeg, .png, .tif, etc.), as long as the document is in the family’s name and has the contact information of the photographer.

4. Bring in the original picture file, or as close to the original as you can obtain. Social-media sites such as Facebook compress images, so the resolution of a picture downloaded from the site will be a lower quality than the original.

5. Please do not make any cropping edits prior to placing your order. The full picture gives Walgreens employees more room to work within to ensure your order is the correct size when printing.

6. Tip for action shots — choose a picture that clearly shows the student’s face, not covered by a sports helmet mask. That way everyone will be able to recognize him/her.

7. If your photographer wants to submit a photo for you, they can stop by the store in person with a CD, USB flash drive, or camera memory card.

8. If your photographer is not centrally located, they may MAIL all materials to Walgreens. This includes the photographer’s contact information, client’s (parents’) contact information, height of the senior, and a stamped self-addressed return mailer for shipping the cd or flash drive back to the photographer.   • Costco –  20″x60″ print or 20″x30″ poster
  • Student Made – 22″x28″ poster board

All items must be attached flat to the Standouts. Posters cannot be adorned with clothing or accessories such as sporting equipment.

Standouts & Posters can be dropped off at the EPHS Activities Entrance: Thursday, June 8, 12-7pm or Friday, June 9, 8-10am

Seniors may take home their standouts home at the end of the party Saturday morning. Any standouts left at school will be available to pick up on Monday, June 12 ONLY from 9am-3pm at Student Center South.
